Steven Bartlett is the most recent addition to the Dragons' Den panel and ranks seventh on our index by deal count, with 13 on-air deals since he joined.

Seventh place out of seven ranked Dragons is the natural result of having by far the shortest tenure of anyone on this list, one series' worth of deals against Peter Jones's 21 series and Duncan Bannatyne's ten, so the ranking says more about timing than about investing judgement.

Bartlett built the social media marketing company Social Chain in his early twenties and now hosts The Diary of a CEO, one of Europe's most listened-to podcasts.
