Dragon Profile
Every Steven Bartlett Investment on Dragons’ Den, Ranked (2026)
All of Steven Bartlett's on-air Dragons’ Den deals ranked by size, every company, every check, every equity stake, with links to where each product is today.
Steven Bartlett is the most recent addition to the Dragons' Den panel and ranks seventh on our index by deal count, with 13 on-air deals since he joined.
Seventh place out of seven ranked Dragons is the natural result of having by far the shortest tenure of anyone on this list, one series' worth of deals against Peter Jones's 21 series and Duncan Bannatyne's ten, so the ranking says more about timing than about investing judgement.
Who is Steven Bartlett
Bartlett built the social media marketing company Social Chain in his early twenties and now hosts The Diary of a CEO, one of Europe's most listened-to podcasts. He joined the Dragons' Den panel as the youngest Dragon in the show's history, and has focused his backing on consumer, wellness and technology brands.
Why his invested total reads as £0
All 13 of Bartlett's deals in our index come from series 22, and every one of them was done jointly with another Dragon. He is a partner on cheques worth hundreds of thousands of pounds, sharing each one with at least one co-investor.
The deal record by the numbers
Bartlett's 13 deals carry an average deal size of £94,000, calculated across the deals attributed to him, the second-highest average on this list behind Duncan Bannatyne and Theo Paphitis. He has partnered with other Dragons on 9 deals and gone solo on 4, meaning roughly 69 percent of his deals were joint deals, a rate close to Peter Jones and Deborah Meaden's own partnering habits rather than the more independent style shown by Sara Davies.
Where he invests
His top two categories are tied: Fashion & Beauty and Food & Drink, each at 23 percent of his deals, followed by Other at 15 percent. That even split between fashion and food fits his public focus on consumer brands with strong social media and brand-building potential, an area close to his own background at Social Chain.
His biggest deal
Bartlett's largest deal is Yuv Beauty, where he and Sara Davies together committed £250,000 for just 2 percent in series 22, tied for the single biggest cheque in the show's history and the smallest equity percentage ever attached to a deal of that size. It is a striking first big move for a Dragon in only his first counted series, and it puts him alongside Sara Davies as a co-investor on one of only two £250,000 deals the show has ever recorded.
Still selling, and how he compares to the rest of the panel
None of Bartlett's investments currently appear in our still-selling list. That is a function of how recent his tenure is rather than a sign the businesses have failed; his deals are all from series 22, the most recent full series in our index, and it typically takes a few years for a clear pattern of survival or closure to show up in the data.
In a single series' worth of deals, Bartlett has already matched or exceeded the average deal size of five of the six Dragons ranked above him, trailing only Theo Paphitis and Duncan Bannatyne. If his pace holds across future series at anywhere near the rate he showed in series 22, his ranking on this list is likely to climb quickly.
A Dragon still building his record
With just one series' worth of deals behind him so far, Bartlett's ranking of seventh, and last, on this list is really a reflection of how little time he has had on the panel compared with Peter Jones's two decades or even Sara Davies's six years, not a verdict on his investing judgement. His average deal size, his willingness to write cheques as large as £250,000, and his even spread across fashion and food all suggest a Dragon building toward a much larger total in the series ahead.
